This Month In The Garden April
With the reprieve from the hot and humid weather, April is the perfect time to enjoy the garden.
Now is the perfect time to plant winter vegetables including Broccoli, Cauliflower, Cabbage, Snow Peas, Lettuce and Silverbeet.
Winter annuals planted early will provide colour throughout the cooler season. These include Pansy, Sweet peas, Violas, Snapdragons, Primulas and Poppys.
Lawns have suffered recently with Lawn Grubs; we recommend a light feed before the cooler weather arrives.
Perennials flowering now include Kalanchoes, Angelonia's, Salvias, Fuchsias and Plectranthus.
